Fish Qorma

  1. Fish 1 kg 
  2. Curd 1/2 cup 
  3. Brown onion 2 
  4. Lemon 1 
  5. Red chili 2-3 
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp 
  7. Red chili 1-1/2 tsp 
  8. Cumin seed 2 tsp 
  9. Turmeric 1 tsp 
  10. Whole coriander 1 tsp 
  11. Cardamom powder 1 tsp 
  12. Cinnamon 1/2 tsp 
  13. Clove (crushed) 1/2 tsp 
  14. Saffron a pinch 
  15. Oil as required 
  16. Salt to taste 
  17. Black pepper to taste 
  18. Green coriander 2 tbsp 
  19. Almonds 10

Recipe

  1. Wash fish and marinate with lemon juice, black pepper, salt, turmeric. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish, keep aside. 
  3. In a blender, combine ginger red chili, almonds and little water to make puree. 
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add puree to it. Cook till golden brown. 
  5. Add saffron and all other spices. Mix well. 
  6. Add warm water to the puree as required and make gravy. 
  7. Add curd and brown onion and mix. 
  8. Add fish to it and cook. 
  9. Garnish with coriander and serve.
