Fish Qorma
- Fish 1 kg
- Curd 1/2 cup
- Brown onion 2
- Lemon 1
- Red chili 2-3
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Red chili 1-1/2 tsp
- Cumin seed 2 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Whole coriander 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder 1 tsp
- Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
- Clove (crushed) 1/2 tsp
- Saffron a pinch
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Green coriander 2 tbsp
- Almonds 10
Recipe
- Wash fish and marinate with lemon juice, black pepper, salt, turmeric.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry fish, keep aside.
- In a blender, combine ginger red chili, almonds and little water to make puree.
- Heat oil in a pan and add puree to it. Cook till golden brown.
- Add saffron and all other spices. Mix well.
- Add warm water to the puree as required and make gravy.
- Add curd and brown onion and mix.
- Add fish to it and cook.
- Garnish with coriander and serve.
