Aloo Ki Bhujia
- Potatoes 8 to 9 large (thick sliced)
- Onions 2 medium (sliced)
- Ginger & garlic paste 1&1/2 tbsp
- Tomatoes 3 medium (chopped)
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp (heaped)
- Dried fenugreek leaves 3 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Nigella seeds 1 tsp (Kalonji)
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Water 1 to 2 glasses
Recipe
- Heat oil in a pan add the onions, ginger & garlic paste fry till golden on high flame.
- Add the cumin seeds, kalonji, dried fenugreek leaves, tomatoes, salt, turmeric, red chilli mix well and cook till the oil comes on the surface.
- Now add the potatoes, water mix and cover and cook on medium flame till the potatoes are cooked and the water dries.
- Garnish with few green chilli.
- Serve hot.
