Roasted Chops

Method 1

Ingredients

  1. Chops 1 kg
  2. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  3. Papaya paste/meat tenderizer 2 tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  6. Hot spice powder 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder ½ tsp
  8. Yogurt 2 tbsp
  9. Oil as required

Recipe

  1. Mix ginger garlic paste, papaya paste/meat tenderizer, salt, red chili powder, hot spice powder, cumin powder and yogurt.
  2. Rub mixture on chops and leave for marination about 2 hours.
  3. Preheat over at 180 degree C. grease baking tray and place chops on tray. Drizzle oil on chops.
  4. Cook about 30 minutes or until meat tender. Turn chops in the half way so they brown from both sides.
  5. Serve hot.

Method 2

  3. Papaya paste/meat tenderizer 2 tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  6. Hot spice powder 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder ½ tsp
  8. Yogurt 2 tbsp
  9. Oil as required

  3. In a wide nonstick cooking pan put a stainless steal strainer and place chops on it. Roast on slow heat until soft and tender.
  4. Serve hot.
