Murgh Makai

  1. Chicken ½ kg (cubes, boneless) 
  2. Oil ¼ cup 
  3. Onion 1 cup (finely chopped) 
  4. Cumin seeds ½ tsp 
  5. Green cardamom 2 
  6. Cloves 2 
  7. Cinnamon 1 stick 
  8. Sweet corn 1 cup 
  9. Milk ½ cup 
  10. Green chilies as much you like (chopped) 
  11. Fresh coriander as much you like (chopped) 
  12. For Marination: 
  13. Yogurt ½ cup 
  14. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped 
  15. Green chilies 3 (chopped) 
  16. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped) 
  17. Allspice 1 tsp 
  18. Chili powder 1 tsp heaped 
  19. Salt 1 tsp
  20. Turmeric ¼ tsp 
  21. Coriander powder 1 tsp

Recipe

  1. Marinate chicken with all the given ingredients under marination for 30 minutes. 
  2. Heat oil in a wok add onion and fry till golden. Add cumin seed, green cardamom, clove and cinnamon with marinated chicken and mix well. 
  3. Cover and cook till chicken nearly done. 
  4. Add sweet corn and milk. Cook for another 10 minutes. 
  5. Lastly add coriander and green chilies. 
  6. Serve with paratha.
