Ingredients

  1. Mutton or Beef 1 kg
  2. Yogurt 100 grams
  3. Papaya paste 3 tbsp
  4. Onion (fried and ground) 1
  5. Ginger/garlic paste 2 tbsp
  6. Roasted and crushed cumin seeds 1 tsp
  7. Crushed red chillies 1 tsp
  8. spices powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  10. Mustard oil 4 tbsp
  11. Salt to taste

Recipe

  1. Marinate steak pieces with papaya paste for at least 4 hours.
  2. Mix steak pieces, onion, yogurt, ginger/garlic, mustard oil, turmeric powder, hot spices powder, red chillies, cumin seeds and salt in a bowl.
  3. After 1 hour you can either put them on skewers and cook them over coals, steam and fry them.
  4. You can also cook it in the oven.
  5. Serve hot.
