Yakhni

Ingredients

  1. Chicken 1 kg
  2. Onions 2 large
  3. Ginger and garlic paste 2 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds 2tbs
  5. Black cardamom 4
  6. Cinnamon stick 1 large piece
  7. Black peppercorn 2 tbsp
  8. Cloves 1 tbsp
  9. Salt 2 tbsp
  10. Water 16 cups

Recipe

  1. In a large pot add chicken, all other ingredients.
  2. Wait for a boil on high flame, then lower the flame low to medium cover and cook for good 20 to 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the stock.
  4. Serve hot.
