Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients
Marination
- Chicken 1kg (cut in 4 pieces also put cuts on the chicken)
- Thick greek yogurt 1 cup
- Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chicken tikka masala powder 1 packet
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Coal 1 piece
Masala
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Onion 2 large (cut in rings)
- Green chilli 4
- Butter 75g
- Oil 1/4 cup & 2 tbs extra
- Fresh coriander handful
Recipe
- Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients under marination and keep it aside for 1 hour.
- Heat oil 1/4 cup and add the chicken and cook on high flame till it changes colour.
- Then add water 1 cup and cook till the chicken is completely cooked and the oil comes on surface on low to medium flame.
- Now add salt mix and keep aside.
- Heat oil 2 tbsp add butter, onion, green chilli and fry for 1 minute on high flame.
- Now add the cooked chicken mix well, heat the coal add a foil place the coal a little oil cover till the smoke settles.
- Add fresh coriander and mix well.
- Serve hot.
