Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

    Marination
  1. Chicken 1kg (cut in 4 pieces also put cuts on the chicken)
  2. Thick greek yogurt 1 cup
  3. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Chicken tikka masala powder 1 packet
  5. Oil 3 tbsp
  6. Coal 1 piece
    Masala
  1. Salt 1/2 tsp
  2. Onion 2 large (cut in rings)
  3. Green chilli 4
  4. Butter 75g
  5. Oil 1/4 cup & 2 tbs extra
  6. Fresh coriander handful

Recipe

  1. Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients under marination and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil 1/4 cup and add the chicken and cook on high flame till it changes colour.
  3. Then add water 1 cup and cook till the chicken is completely cooked and the oil comes on surface on low to medium flame.
  4. Now add salt mix and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil 2 tbsp add butter, onion, green chilli and fry for 1 minute on high flame.
  6. Now add the cooked chicken mix well, heat the coal add a foil place the coal a little oil cover till the smoke settles.
  7. Add fresh coriander and mix well.
  8. Serve hot.
