Chicken Croquettes
Ingredients
- Chicken mince 1/2 kg
- Boiled & mashed potatoes 1 large
- Bread 1 slice (soaked into water and squeezed)
- Egg 1
- All spices 1 tsp levelled
- Black pepper powder 1tsp
- Salt 1tsp heaped
- Plain flour 1cup
- Bread crumbs (fresh as much as required)
- Egg 1
Recipe
- Get a bowl, add the mince, boiled and mashed potatoes, slide of bread (which was soaked and squeezed), one egg, salt, all spices, black pepper powder and mix well.
- Rub some oil on your palms, take a tbsp of mince in to your hands and make your croquettes in oval shape.
- Now roll each croquette in to the flour, then in to beaten egg and then in bread crumbs.
- Get a frying pan, add enough oil, make sure oil is hot not boiling and add your croquettes to deep fry them inside and out on low to medium heat.
- Serve hot.
