Rajasthani Mutton

  1. Mutton 1 kg 
  2. Onions 4 medium (finely chopped) 
  3. Yogurt 2 cups 
  4. Green chilli 4 (sliced) 
  5. Ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp 
  6. Coriander powder 1 tbsp (heaped) 
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp (dry roasted & crushed) 
  8. Red chilli powder 1 & 1/2 tsp 
  9. Salt 1 & 1/2 tsp 
  10. Turmeric 1/2 tsp 
  11. Garam masala powder 1 tsp 
  12. Fresh ginger 2 inch piece (julienne) 
  13. Oil 1 cup 
  14. Fresh coriander hand full

Recipe

  1. Heat oil and fry the onions till golden on high flame. 
  2. Then add ginger & garlic paste, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, cumin, coriander powder, water 1/4 cup mix well cook on high flame till the oil comes on surface. 
  3. Add mutton and cook on high flame for 5 minutes till changes color. 
  4. Now add yogurt mix and again cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface. 
  5. Now add water 3 glass mix, wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on low to medium flame till the mutton is cooked and oil comes on surface. 
  6. Then add fresh ginger, green chilli, garam masala powder mix well, cook on high flame for 1 minute. 
  7. Add fresh coriander mix. 
  8. Serve hot with naan.
