Reshmi Chicken

  1. Chicken 1 kg (cut in 16 pieces)
  2. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
  3. Cashew nuts 20 (make paste with milk or cream)
  4. Raw papaya paste 1 tbsp
  5. Cream 3 tbsp
  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder 1tsp
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  10. Fresh coriander 3 tbsp
  11. Green chilli 3 (sliced)
  12. Yogurt 1 & 1/2 cup
  13. Onion 1 large (grind to a paste)
  14. Oil 1/2 cup
  15. Fresh coriander 3 tbsp

Recipe

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, cashew nut paste, ginger & garlic paste, salt, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, raw  papaya, coriander mix well, cover and leave it for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil add onion paste and fry till golden.
  3. Add the marinated chicken mix, wait for a boil and cover and cook on low to medium flame till the chicken is cooked  completely (can add 1 cup of water and cook).
  4. Now add the green chilli, coriander, cream mix.
  5. Garnish it with little cream.
  6. Serve hot with naan.
