Pan Fried Fish
- Fish fillet ½ kg
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Tomato 250 gm
- Onion 1
- Oregano ¼ tsp
- Coriander leaves ½ bunch
- Oil 100 ml
Recipe
- Blanch tomatoes, peel and puree them.
- Marinate fish with salt, pepper, garlic paste and lemon juice.
- Take a medium sized skillet.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil then sauté chopped onion and chopped garlic.
- Add the tomato puree and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Then add salt, pepper, oregano.
- Cook until the texture of the puree becomes smooth.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Fry the marinated fish fillet 3 minutes one side, flip the fish over and fry the other side for another 3 minutes.
- Pour the marina sauce on top.
- Mix gently.
- Serve hot.
