French Fries (Potato Chips)

Ingredients

  1. Potatoes 5 large
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Oil for deep-frying

Recipe

  1. Peel the potatoes and keep them soaked in water. Cut them into finger sized pieces
  2. Transfer the potato pieces into a zip-lock bag and seal after removing any excess air and keep them in the deep freezer (OPTIONAL).
  3. When required remove them from the deep freezer and deep fry directly in medium hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain the extra oil.
  4. Add salt only after removing them from hot oil.
  5. Serve hot.
