Split Bengal Gram (Channa Ki Daal) With Chicken
Ingredients
- Oil 1 cup
- Onions 2 medium / 1 large
- Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt 3 tsp full
- Tumeric 1/4 tsp
- Red chillies 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Tomato 2 medium
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg (cut into small pieces)
- Split Bengal Gram (Channay Ki Daal) 3 cup (Washed and soaked for 2 hours)
- Green chillies 4-5 (sliced)
- Fresh coriander a bunch
- Garam Masala 1 tsp
- Black Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Recipe
- Heat oil in a cooker add onions, ginger & garlic paste, salt, turmeric and red chillies stir well till onions become transparent on high flame.
- Add tomato and water 1/4 cup in it cover with a lid till the tomato becomes paste.
- Add chicken and stir well for 2 minutes.
- Add Split Bengal Gram (Channay ki Daal) and water 8 glass.
- Close the cooker for 12 minutes after whistle.
- Open the cooker and mash lentil.
- Add green chillies, fresh coriander, garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix well for 2 minutes
- Serve hot with boil rice or chapati.
