Split Bengal Gram (Channa Ki Daal) With Chicken

Ingredients


  1. Oil 1 cup
  2. Onions 2 medium / 1 large
  3. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Salt 3 tsp full
  5. Tumeric 1/4 tsp
  6. Red chillies 1 & 1/2 tsp
  7. Tomato 2 medium
  8. Chicken boneless 1/2 kg (cut into small pieces)
  9. Split Bengal Gram (Channay Ki Daal) 3 cup (Washed and soaked for 2 hours)
  10. Green chillies 4-5 (sliced)
  11. Fresh coriander a bunch
  12. Garam Masala 1 tsp
  13. Black Pepper powder 1/4 tsp

Recipe


  1. Heat oil in a cooker add onions, ginger & garlic paste, salt, turmeric and red chillies stir well till onions become transparent on high flame.
  2. Add tomato and water 1/4 cup in it cover with a lid till the tomato becomes paste.
  3. Add chicken and stir well for 2 minutes.
  4. Add Split Bengal Gram (Channay ki Daal) and water 8 glass.
  5. Close the cooker for 12 minutes after whistle.
  6. Open the cooker and mash lentil.
  7. Add green chillies, fresh coriander, garam masala and black pepper powder. Mix well for 2 minutes
  8. Serve hot with boil rice or chapati.
