Dahi (Yogurt) Chicken

Ingredients


  1. Chicken 1kg (cut in 12 pieces)
  2. Tomatoes 2 medium (cut in 4 & deseeded)
  3. Onions 2 medium(cut in 4 & saperate the layers)
  4. Bell peppers 2 small (cut in cubs & deseeded)
  5. Green chilli 4 (cut in half)
  6. Yogurt (Dahi) 1 & 1/2 cup
  7. Salt 1 tsp
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  10. Wostershire sauce 2 tbsp
  11. Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
  12. Oil 1/2 cup

Recipe


  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger & garlic, salt, red chilli, soya sauce, wostershire sauce, yogurt mix well cover and keep in fridge for 1/2 hour.
  2. Heat oil and add the chicken with the marination mix and wait for a boil on high flame, then the flame to medium cover and cook till the oil comes on surface and chicken is cooked.
  3. In a frying pan add 2tbs oil and saute the bellpeppers, onions on high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Now add the tomatoes, green chilli in with the wedges mix & add this to the chicken.
  5. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
