Chocolate Cake

  1. Boiling water 1 cup
  2. Vegetable oil 1/2 cup
  3. Plain flour 1 & 3/4 cup
  4. Dark cocoa powder 3/4 cup
  5. Caster sugar 2 cup
  6. Eggs 2
  7. Baking powder 1 & 1/2 tsp
  8. Baking soda 1 & 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt 1/2 tsp
  10. Strong coffee 1 tsp
  11. Vanilla essences 1 tbsp
  12. 2 cake tins 8inch (greased and floured add baking paper at he bottom)
  13. Powder sugar 3 cups
  14. Dark cocoa powder 2/3 cup
  15. Cream 1 cup ( can use more cream if it is to stiff)
  16. Butter 110g (melted)
  17. Vanilla essences 1 tbsp

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven 350f, 180c, gas mark 4.
  2. In a bowl sieve the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar, cocoa powder, then mix it with a spoon.
  3. Mix coffee with boiling water.
  4. Then add vanilla, oil, eggs in the dry cake mixture and beat, then add the boiling coffee and beat once again.
  5. Now divide the batter in the cake tins, bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the tin, then remove and let it cool completely on a rack, remove the baking paper.
  7. In a a bowl add powder sugar, cocoa, cream melted butter, vanilla and beat till smooth.
  8. Place cake on a plate and add the frosting, place the other cake on top and cover all over and around.

Chocolate Marble Cake

  1. Butter 225 gram
  2. Plain flour 225 gram
  3. Caster sugar 225 gram
  4. Chocolate chip 110 gram
  5. Eggs 4
  6. Icing sugar 1 cup
  7. Cherry 1 cup
  8. Baking powder 1 tsp
  9. Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  10. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  11. Coco powder 4 tbsp

Recipe

  1. Preheat an oven on 180 degree.
  2. Grease a baking pan or tray and sprinkle some plain flour on it.
  3. In a mixing bowl mix sugar and butter with an electric beater until smooth and creamy.
  4. Now add in eggs one by one and keep on mixing with beater.
  5. Now add plain flour and mix well so that it forms a dough.
  6. Pour this mixture in the baking pan.
  7. In another bowl put some vanilla essence, coco powder and chocolate chips and mix well.
  8. Pour it on dough.
  9. Now bake it for 30-40 minutes.
  10. When done, let it cool.
  11. Serve cold.

Pineapple Cake

  1. Sugar 100g
  2. Plain flour 100g
  3. Butter 115g (unsalted)
  4. Milk 1/3 cup
  5. Eggs 2
  6. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  7. Baking powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt a pinch
  9. Icing sugar 1 cup
  10. Double cream 2 cups
  11. Pineapple bits 565g
  12. Pineapple juice 1cup (from the can)
  13. Pineapple rings (as many required for deco)
  14. Glazed cherries (as many required for deco)

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven 180c, 350f, gas mark 4.
  2. Grease the cake tin 8inch and place the baking paper in the bottom and sides and grease again, keep aside.
  3. Keep the cream in the fridge till needed.
  4. In a bowl sieve the flour, baking powder and salt, keep aside.
  5. In a separate bowl add sugar, butter and whisk till light and fluffy for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the vanilla essence and one egg at a time and beat.
  7. Then the flour mix and beat, then add the milk and mix it in.
  8. Pour the batter in the cake tin and bake it for 30 to 35 minutes or when a tooth pick inserted comes out clean. once baked let it cool down completely.
  9. Now cut the cake horizontally.
  10. In a bowl add the cream and icing sugar and beat till gets thick, then add the pineapple bits with as much cream required mix and keep aside.
  11. Moisten the cake with the pineapple juice about 7 to 8 tbs on each side of the cake, then add the cream mixture and place the other half of the cake on top.
  12. Over the cake with the remaining cream and place the pineapple rings and cherries.
