Chilli Meat (Mirch Gosht)
Ingredients
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Green chilies 1/2 kg
- Oil 1 cup
- Lemons 2
- Onion 3
- Curry leaves few
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
- Nigella seeds 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Recipe
- Take oil in the pan and add 3 chopped onion and fry them till they are golden brown.
- Add in 1 tsp turmeric, salt and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, nigella seeds,cumin powder, red chilli and meat mix well cover and cook on low to medium.
- When the water of the meat dries, add yogurt and cook till the yogurt dries now add 2 cups of water and cook on low to medium till the meat is completely cooked, fry the green chillies and keep a side.
- When the meat is cooked add in black pepper, fries green chilies, coriander leaves, curry leaves & lemon juice mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
