Grilled Beef With Rice
- Beef 300 gm (steaks)
- For Marinade:
- Sesame oil 60 ml
- Soy sauce 50 ml (light)
- Ginger 40 gm (chopped)
- Garlic 40 gm (chopped)
- Garlic-chilli sauce 130 gm
- Tomato, onion and cucumber roundels to serve
- For Fried Rice:
- Rice 600 gm (boiled/cooked)
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Eggs 4 (lightly whisked)
- Spring onion 40 gm (sliced)
- Baby corn 40 gm (sliced)
- Snow peas 40 gm (sliced)
- For Seasoning:
- Sugar 30
- gm
Salt 30 gm
- Soy sauce 30 gm
- Garlic sauce 30 gm
Recipe
- Mix together all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate the beef in it for a couple of hours.
Grill the marinated beef till it reaches desired level of doneness.
- Cut into pieces and keep aside.
- To prepare fried rice:
- Heat oil in a wok, add eggs, cook and stir until egg is lightly scrambled.
- Add all the vegetables and stir-fry for a minute.
- Add rice and toss again.
- Mix in all the seasoning ingredients, toss again.
- To serve, create a bed of tomato, onion, cucumber roundels, place beef pieces on top and serve with a portion of rice.
