Aloo Mutter (Matar) Keema

Ingredients:



  1. Mince 1 kg
  2. Potatoes 2 Large peeled/cubed
  3. Frozen peas 1cup
  4. Ginger (Fresh) 2inch thinly chopped
  5. Onions 1 large sliced
  6. Tomatoes 2 medium sized sliced
  7. Ginger and garlic paste 1tbs
  8. Crushed red chilli 1tbs
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp heeped
  10. Coriander powder (dhania) 1tbs
  11. Cumin seeds (zeera) 1tbs
  12. Turmeric powder (haldi)1/2 tsp
  13. Salt 2 tbsp
  14. All spices (Garam masala) 1tsp
  15. Coriander fresh (dhania) 1/2 bunch
  16. Green chillies (hari mirch) 4 sliced
  17. Oil OR Ghee 1/4 cup
  18. Water 2 cups

Recipe:


  1. In a pan add Oil, onions, ginger & garlic paste. Fry till lightly golden brown.
  2. Add mince. Cook till it changes colour & the mince water entirely drys (high flame).
  3. Once water drys and oil oozes out, add tomatoes and fresh ginger.
  4. Add crushed chilli, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt & coriander powder, mix it well and do taste if chilli OR salt is needed more (high flame) cook till tomatoes are reduced and masala is made.
  5. Add potatoes and peas mix it well.
  6. Add 2cups of water and cook on low to medium heat and let the water dry till potatoes and peas are cooked.
  7. Once water drys add garam masala, fresh coriander, green chillies (flame should be high by now)
  8. Cook for 2mins and serve hot.
