White Masala Biryani
Ingredients
For Stock:
- Water 6 cups
- Garlic 6 cloves
- Bay leaf 4
- Black cardamom 2
- Whole coriander 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 1 stick
For Mutton:
- Mutton ½ kg
- Onion 1 (sliced)
- Salt to taste
- Cloves 4
- Black cardamom 1
- Green cardamom 4
- Green chillies ground 2 tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
- Oil ½ cup
- Potatoes 4
- Rice ½ kg (boiled)
Recipe
- In a pan put all together water, garlic, bay leaf, fennel seeds, cinnamon, black cardamom, and coriander and cook for 20 minutes.
- Strain the stock and keep aside.
- Add this stock to the pan add in mutton with sliced onion, salt, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, green chilies and cook till mutton half done.
- Now add potatoes, yogurt, tomatoes slice and brown onion and cook until water dries and mutton fully cooked.
- Boil rice with salt till half done drain rice.
- In a pan spread mutton mixture cover with boil rice.
- Heat oil and pour on top of rice.
- Simmer for 15 minutes on low flame, delicious white masala biryani is ready to be served.
- Serve hot.
